Magda is originally from Colombia S.A.  She is a resident of Alexander County and attended University of North Carolina in Greensboro and Lenoir-Rhyne University.  Magda is a former educator that is bilingual in Spanish and English. She is also a former USEF and Paso Fino Horse Association Certified judge, with a rich equestrian background and experience. Magda’s passion for horses and the farming lifestyle comes from her childhood spent on her father’s farm. 

Licensed in NC real estate in 2022. Magda has extensive experience remodeling and investing in real estate personally for several decades.  She is a firm believer in the power of “sweat equity”. Magda along with her husband of 35 years Rocky has learned the finer details of preparing and presenting a property to sell.  Through this experience she has honed her home decorating and staging skills.  She has hard-earned insight on the process of buying and selling a variety of properties from personal residence to investment properties.  She looks forward to sharing that valuable first-hand experience with her clients.   

In 2015 Magda and her husband fell in love with Alexander County and its natural beauty and rolling hills. They established their small farm, Starry Haven Farm and embraced all the serene surroundings that the area has to share. Life at Starry Haven Farm includes a small herd of Paso Fino horses, one loyal old dog, a growing family that now includes three grown children, two awesome son-in-laws, one brand new grandchild and another one on the way.  She enjoys nothing more than taking in the beautiful sunsets from her porch surrounded by family and friends. Establishing her small farm has been a dream and that has allowed her to find peace and the freedom to enjoy a simple yet idyllic lifestyle.
